32-year-old Bottas has been in incredible form this season. Finishing his last race with a P7, the driver has managed tremendous results with the Alfa Romeo team. Despite leaving Mercedes F1 after last season, the Finn did not lose hope. In fact, in the last 5 races, Bottas has managed to give Lewis Hamilton and George Russell a run for their money.
Valtteri has now even managed to out-qualify a Silver Arrows car in an Alfa Romeo. Even Imola was a close call, as he kept closing the gap to rival Russell, who did everything to avoid being overtaken by Bottas in the final stages of the race.
