The 2023 F1 season will see French team Alpine start their campaign with two French drivers, Esteban Ocon, and Pierre Gasly, in their line-up. As the upcoming season looms large, the tension builds in the Alpine garage as fans are skeptical about the smooth functioning of the team with two former friends turned competitors at the helm. It is believed that the French team will have a hard time keeping the two under control as they have contrasting characters as seen in a recently surfaced video. A video from the Alpine F1 team’s TikTok is making rounds on the internet. In the video, Gasly was seen dancing to music and having the time of his life. Whereas for Ocon, it was nothing special. While the former AlphaTauri driver was seen busting a move, Ocon walked and stood there like it was no big deal.

Ocon and Gasly were friends who competed against each other in their karting days. As the competition got stiffer, the duo clashed against one another and hence, their bonding turned sour over the years. As per RaceFans, Gasly explained back in 2018, “I started to beat him [Ocon] and he didn’t like it so we’re not friends anymore.” But, now in 2023 they are in the same team, and naturally, the team would expect them to work together.
