It’s obviously very important for Ferrari doing well at the moment,” he said. “We know that we have improved the car. And, if you look at the last races, we improved our position in the race.”

I think the car has become more consistent, and the car has become a bit faster,” Binotto said. “So it’s great, at least, to have those results. It’s great for next year.”

Ferrari boss looking forward to the next three races

The 2020 season has almost reached its end, with just three more race weekends to go. Although the top two positions are pretty much locked out, the fight for P3 and lower positions has been gaining steam.

With the last weekend’s race, Ferrari, too, have joined the battle for P3. Hence, Binotto was encouraged by the fact that the Maranello-based outfit are still within the touching distance of P3.

It’s great looking ahead as well to the next races,” he said. “As well, in terms of constructor positions, it’s not the end of the championship. So, it’s encouraging.”

Such rapid improvement from Ferrari on the track will definitely boost the ones at the headquarters into working even harder to provide their drivers with a faster car.

The people are working hard, back at home, trying to understand the weaknesses of the car and trying to address them. And especially, as we are preparing for next season, those results somehow are encouraging ourselves,” Binotto said.

Ferrari are currently in P6 with 130 points in hand. However, the good news for Ferrari is that they are just 24 points behind the third-placed Racing Point. The Prancing Horses have always wound up in the top three since 2015, for five seasons. Will they be able to make it six with this season?
