Nelson Piquet won the 1987 season, twelve points ahead of Nigel Mansell. And Verstappen, contending champion, is dating the Brazilian driver’s daughter. Kelly Piquet and Max Verstappen’s relationship caused quite a stir in the F1 community, but the two seem to be extremely happy as Piquet frequents the paddock.

Max Verstappen and the Piquets

Max dating the daughter of a three-time-world champion should come with added benefits, but the Dutchman believes his career is his own. He once said, Of course he’s a legend in Formula 1. The Brazilian model used to date Daniil Kvyat, whose seat Max took at Red Bull. The couple had made their relationship public sometime earlier this year. However, rumors had been circulated prior to that, as the two frequented parties together.

Piquet has been extremely supportive of the Red Bull star, as seen in what could be one of the sweetest captures of the Monaco GP. She has been traveling with Max and was spotted in Austria as well.
