Norris- Ricciardo scenes did not impress Max Verstappen
The Dutchman has recently criticized the series for misrepresenting Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo’s moments. Both the drivers share a very good relationship with Max and are now teammates at McLaren. In light of this, Max said, “I watched two episodes, but I was not very impressed. It’s just not my thing, faking rivalries.”

The 24-year-old added, “Lando and Daniel are two great people I know – they have really great characters and immediately at the second episode it looks like they are not very friendly to each other, and for me that’s not correct and that’s why I’m also not a part of it.”

Max doesn’t want to be a part of Drive to Survive
Drive to Survive season 4 dropped on Netflix on March 11, 2022. Formula One’s immense growth in recent times is credited to the series. However, it clearly does not suit Verstappen’s taste, who previously said, “All these things, the drama, it’s just not for me. It’s not my world.”
Many European fans also seemed to agree with Max‘s claims and have criticized the series. Fans felt that certain events, overdramatized, gave a feeling of watching some soap opera.
