Although the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is in the past, the race gave memories for the fans to cherish in the future. Despite his misfortune in Baku, Max Verstappen served one of those memories for the fans.

After his race-ending crash on Lap 47, the Dutchman kicked his left rear tire, which became a memorable image. However, in just a few days, that action turned into a meme that’s trending today.

Although Verstappen led the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for more than half of its duration, his rear tires gave out in Lap 47. This sent the Dutchman’s Red Bull spinning on the final straight, along with any chance of extending his lead in the driver’s championship.

While reactions of his disappointment was all over the internet, the reaction that drew the most attention was him kicking his tire. Although there were multiple tweets of this reaction, YouTube is playing host to more creativity. Recently, a video surfaced where the Dutchman is seeing kicking F1 cars in various situations.

With the Euros ongoing, Verstappen’s moment also featured in various football situations, like this tweet from ESPN F1.

The internet often houses a lot of creativity. Although Verstappen’s crash was disastrous, many saw the funny side of it. Although Baku is in the past, the Euros are still on for three more weeks. So, one can expect more memes of the Dutchman involved in various scenarios with his kicks.

Despite crashing out in Baku, the Dutchman remains at the top of the driver’s championship. However, the Dutchman rued an opportunity to extend his lead on Lewis Hamilton in a street circuit, where Mercedes are not the strongest.
