The very first Grand Prix of the season is done and dusted. The hype around the season was mega ever since pre-season testing began. However, if you look at the race result, it would be a familiar one from 2022. You guessed it right, Max Verstappen, once again claimed the top step of the podium, as he drove a commanding race to secure the first one-two of the season for Red Bull. The 2x champion was once again at his utter best and dominated the field. But his victory was even more impressive, given how everyone else seemingly faltered while he kept his wits about himself.

It isn’t uncommon to see Verstappen winning a Grand Prix nowadays. After all, he’s won 26 out of the last 46 Grand Prix. That being said, after the sublime racing prowess the Dutch lion showcased today, all the eyes were on him, well, him and Fernando Alonso, of course!

Irrespective, the commanding dominance the 25-year-old displayed at the Sakhir International Circuit today was on the lips of every F1 fan today. And as soon as the final classifications were announced, fans rushed to the social media platform, Twitter to share their reactions.

The Dutch driver led his teammate Sergio Perez and the rest of the grid from the get-go. And he never relinquished that lead. Soon, he built up a comfortable gap, and everything was on pace. After 57 laps of the Bahraini race, Verstappen emerged victorious.

One fan even commented, “This dude is inevitable despite having a very punchable face.”
