Max Verstappen has been the hot topic of conversation in the last 2 seasons. It has been a roller coaster ride for him in terms of fandom, title fights, and racing rivalries. Nonetheless, his loved ones, especially his partner Kelly Piquet, have been a pillar of support, backing the Dutchman. And on the special day of his triumph, Kelly dedicated Max a special montage.

The daughter of 3-time champion Nelson Piquet, Kelly Piquet started dating Max Verstappen at the start of 2020. Piquet who was former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat‘s partner until 2019, also has a daughter with the Russian. She has been in a relationship with Verstappen for the past 3 years now.

Kelly often accompanies Max on race weekends and award ceremonies. Most recently, she was present with the 2-time world champion at the FIA Gala. While posting pics of the prize-giving ceremony, she also shared some throwback moments from the 2021 season finale.

Kelly shared some of her posts from the Abu Dhabi finale. She put the pictures on her stories from the post from December 2021, captioned as “WORLD F*CKING CHAMPION. Just unforgettable.”

The pictures featured the celebrations after Verstappen sealed his maiden championship at Yas Marina. She reminisced about how memorable those moments were, on its first anniversary.

Piquet also shared some pics of her and Max enjoying themselves at the Red Bull End of Season Party. It was a dedicated montage to Max and how the last 2 years have been amazing for him.

Almost all of Red Bull’s personnel were present at the End of Season party, including Christian Horner and Sergio Perez. It was a combined celebration of Christmas and the 2022 season’s success, just a day after the FIA Gala.

Max Verstappen and his Off-Season activities so far

Max Verstappen is not a guy often involved in many activities besides racing. Especially in the off-season, he shall mostly be on sim-racing or any off-track marketing activities for Red Bull. Although after the 2022 season, the Dutchman is quite actively present on several occasions.

Besides attending the FIA Gala and the Red Bull Christmas party, Verstappen also visited Japan for the Honda Thanks Day. Accompanying him were his teammate Sergio Perez, and the AlphaTauri drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly.

They all raced their 2021 cars, namely the Red Bull RB16B and the AlphaTauri AT02 around the Twin Ring MOTEGI circuit. The RB16B was painted in the classic white Honda tribute livery, which the team ran in Turkey last year.

Pierre Gasly, who leaves for Alpine in 2023, was perhaps having his final run in the AlphaTauri car. Pierre has been in the Red Bull family all his career since 2017 and will now finally leave them.

Max has potentially witnessed the best time of his career so far in 2022. He shall be looking to dominate similarly next season. Though he knows his rivals at other teams won’t make life easy for him. The 2-time champion will want to relax over the winter to hit the ground running again in Bahrain next year.
