Max Verstappen’s Girlfriend Kelly Piquet Reveals Her ‘Spirit Animal’

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have been together for over a year now. The duo is often spotted in the paddock as Piquet comes to support Verstappen during the races. Piquet is the daughter of three-time world champion Nelson Piquet and lives in Monaco just like Max.
She recently took to Instagram to share a video of actors Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. In the video, we can see Kunis is defending Timberlake from a rude question asked by a Russian journalist. Kelly shared the video on her story and called Kunis her spirit animal.
” Mila Kunis is my spirit animal,” wrote Piquet in her story.

Russian Journalist claims Piquet has made Max Verstappen more mature
As reported by Championat, the Russian journalist Alexie Popov mentioned it surprised him how much Verstappen had matured in the 2021 season. He credited his girlfriend Kelly Piquet for the change in the Red Bull driver.
“You know, I’ve never been a fan of Max as a character, as a person, but this year I felt like his character had changed for the better — dramatically,” said Popov.

“I don’t know, maybe Kelly is the reason for this or just that he suddenly matured and something clicked, but somehow something changed at once. Yes, it has nothing to do with his aerobatics, but with how he reacts to things.
“Max in many ways perceived them more maturely than the 36-year-old seven-time world champion. I’m talking about Max’s reaction — on the radio, after the finish, and in the press. I sometimes wondered: was he replaced by anything? Who is this person?” said Popov.

Well, it is nice to see that Kelly has positively influenced the life of Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver came good at the end of the last season and showed maturity to beat Hamilton for the title.
