It was the season’s final race, and Max Verstappen took the top step of the podium with yet another race win. The Dutchman won the 2022 championship with utter dominance. We already know he has made a record with 15 race wins in the season. However, here is a statistical update about Verstappen delivered by none other than his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet.

The Brazilian model has been in a relationship with Verstappen since 2020. The supportive girlfriend is also the daughter of world champion Nelson Piquet. Hence, it is not an uncommon sight to see her in the paddock.

Keeping that in mind, it was no surprise she was present for the season finale in Abu Dhabi supporting Verstappen. Verstappen and Red Bull had already won both championships with three races to spare. However, that did not dilute the Red Bull world champion’s hunger as he cruised to yet another victory.

After yet another race win, Piquet took to her Instagram to share a story summarizing the season. She shared a video of one of the big monitors displaying the race winner, Verstappen, and wrote a caption along with it.

“What a season, 15 wins, 7 poles, 35 wins total, and he’s not gone yet,” read the caption.

The proud girlfriend boasted her partner’s stats on her Instagram story. Those are incredible numbers to put a lid on the 2022 season. However, this isn’t the only incident where Kelly Piquet has shown support to the world champion.

The F1 power couple often spends their time together, even during race weekends. One instance was captured on video where Verstappen communicated his surprise as he saw his girlfriend approaching him.

After the Singapore Grand Prix, she surprised Verstappen with an early visit during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.

In the video, Verstappen spots his girlfriend and goes, “You’re around already? No way. Wow.”

However, the Dutchman could not spend time with her at the moment and quickly communicated his parting words. “Alright. I’ll see you later. Have fun.”
