McLaren F1 became the 4th team to launch their 2022 livery. The British team launched their livery, which is totally different from the 2021 car; it has introduced new colors to the car and made tweaks to the papaya base.

There have been many fans who have mentioned that the new 2022 livery is one that gets better with each viewing. Most of them took to social media to give their opinion on the new 2022 McLaren livery.
I’ve got to say, that I wasn’t sure about the livery on first look but it grew on me VERY quickly. It looks great! Very distinctive and eye-catching. Maybe a small hint of that spectacular Gulf livery in there, too?

I remember the reveal of the '22 cars with the F1 livery, it was questionable. Then some mock ups with proper liveries came out and it looked ok. Aston Martin's reveal looked good, this one, I can't wait to see it on track!

According to Autosport, the British team has certainly made some changes in the 2022 cars compared to the car in 2021. They have made changes to the side pods, front suspensions, and brake ducts for the upcoming season.

But it would be interesting to see if this is the final iteration of the car that we will see on the track.

Heading into my second year with McLaren feels great: Daniel Ricciardo
As reported by McLaren.com, the Aussie driver heads into his second season with the British team. Daniel struggled in the 2021 season to match up to his teammate through most of the season. He mentioned he is looking forward to starting on a positive note in the new season and getting into the new car while giving his take on the 2022 cars.

“There’s always a nervous excitement around the start of the new season, but that’s turned up to 11 when you enter a new era of regulations. Having been through several regulation changes now, I feel like I’m able to use that energy to help me adapt to new cars, new ways of driving, and ultimately new ways of racing.

These new cars will feel very different to the previous eras I’ve driven, but I’m hopeful that will come with closer racing and more opportunities to get to the front of the pack,” said Daniel.

It would be interesting to see if McLaren is competitive who they will prefer between the drivers. Ricciardo certainly needs to assert his authority and regain his lost reputation in the 2022 season.
