It was game over for British team Mclaren as soon as it was lights out at the Bahrain circuit. While the testing and qualifying were huge hurdles for the team, surprisingly, they were no match for even the midfield cars.

The incredible race saw many underdogs make it to the top 10 while Mclaren could not even put up a decent fight. Sadly, the Woking team was left hanging at P14 and P15.

McLaren did not saw this coming

Fans find a favorite in the Lando Norris- Daniel Ricciardo pairing. While they were anticipated to be in a top four-fight, suddenly various car issues have held the papaya team back. A deterrent cooling issue was initially keeping Ricciardo out, while Norris constantly struggled with the car’s pace.

Charles Leclerc wins the Bahrain Grand Prix

On the other hand, Ferrari have turned it around for themselves. The team finally managed a 1-2 situation where Monegasque Charles Leclerc grabbed a thrilling win against reigning champion Max Verstappen. The first race was very intense, where Mercedes powered engines were all bottom six. Furthermore, after making several demanding moves at Leclerc, Max Verstappen’s car gave up as he lost the chance to win.

Just when everyone thought Perez might bring in some points for the team, his car just spun. Ironically, Lewis Hamilton was quick enough to avoid any damage and pass the Mexican driver.
