Since McLaren‘s victory over Alpine in the Oscar Piastri case, the team appears to rely on authority rather than trust when it comes to their drivers. As a matter of fact whenever Lando Norris has been linked to Red Bull rumors, CEO Zak Brown has been the vocal spokesperson, with the former staying silent. However, as McLaren’s strategies stumbled after just three successful races, Norris’s faith in the team seems to have shifted.

A tweet by @TheMclarenZone captured the essence of this shift, with Lando Norris issuing a stern warning to McLaren’s CEO. These comments marked a significant change in Norris’s perspective. In an interview with RaceFans, Lando said, I owe #McLaren a lot, but I don’t owe them my life. Obviously, there’s always been things going on and there’s been chats in the past and things like that, any time a contract comes to an end.”
