Lando “No-Wins” is what Norris was referred to as before the Miami GP. The Brit did not have a single win in his F1 109 starts but made his 110th one count, beating Max Verstappen to take home the Miami GP winners trophy. And the Brit has now fired a warning Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz’s way while sending a heartfelt message to his team. What is the Brit up to? What did he say?

Lando Norris won the Miami GP in the best of fashion and beat Max Verstappen on pure pace. While it’s true that the safety car did give Norris a big advantage, it was his pure race pace that helped him create a gap of about 8 seconds at the end of the race with Max Verstappen. The Dutchman had no answers as he struggled with grip throughout the weekend. And while Carlos Sainz is in hot form and most likely to be the only non-Red Bull driver to win the race, he looked a little off at the Miami GP.

As for Norris, he was ecstatic after his much-awaited first win. Almost every driver on the grid went up to the Brit and congratulated him. But his pace wasn’t pure coincidence. McLaren brought massive upgrades to the Miami GP, and it seems to have put their car somewhere around Red Bull’s pace. The package isn’t optimized over one race weekend, so it’ll only improve in the next couple of races. And maybe this is the reason why Norris hinted in his Instagram Story that more wins are incoming with just four simple words, “It’s just the start.”

Lando Norris thanked everyone for the Miami GP win, their wishes, and how he felt after the win. He wrote, “Genuinely had the most insane couple days of my life. Still don’t know what to say but this was a dream since I was a kid literally haven’t stopped smiling since lap 33… So much hard work to achieve this and it all finally paid off. The support from all my team, the McLaren Papaya fans, other drivers and so so many more, I’ve appreciated every single little bit of it. Love you all. And after all of this, we’re just getting started….”

Norris is ready to bring the fight to Max Verstappen and the only other race winner this year, Carlos Sainz. Yet, keeping the on-track action aside, Max Verstappen and Lando Norris celebrated the McLaren drivers’ first win in style.

Lando Norris Wild night out with Max Verstappen after Maiden F1 win

Lando Norris had his flight booked to leave Miami for Sunday night; however, he was convinced by Lewis Hamilton to stay and celebrate the first win in Miami, as it’ll never happen again. The Brit took the advice, rescheduled the flights, and went out with Max Verstappen to party at the club E11EVEN. Kelly Piquet, Travis Kelce, Pierre Gasly, Logan Sargeant, and Oscar Piastri were all at the party to celebrate Norris’ win.

The package at E11EVEN was worth $111,000 and was named the Winner’s Circle, with Afrojack on the DJ set. It’s truly the way Norris should’ve celebrated. However, Carlos Sainz was not present at the party and was spotted having dinner with Nico Hulkenberg at the Forte dei Marmi restaurant. As for Lewis Hamilton, he did convince Norris to stay and party, but probably couldn’t make it because he had the Met Gala the very next day.
