Working in F1, every driver and team boss has got a lavish lifestyle. Especially, buying expensive watches, cars, and many more luxury items may be standard stuff for an F1 driver or even a team boss. Though, one probably cannot flaunt if the car is of a competitor on the paddock. This has been the case for Mercedes boss Toto Wolff. Toto owns a Ferrari supercar, which he is getting rid of, due to some reason. But, apparently, it may be due to him being a Mercedes shareholder as well.
According to the Italian website Corriere, Wolff is looking to trim down his garage by selling his Ferrari F40. This F40 beast ain’t the first car of his arch-rival Ferrari’s brand Toto has owned. Back in the day, he also had a LaFerrari Aperta. Though, the Mercedes boss sold that supercar as well with an autograph on the front bonnet.
Wolff’s F40 is rumored to be worth $2.16 million (€2 million). But collectors may even pay more for this rare beast from Ferrari, especially when Toto was its owner. On top of that, the Austrian boss has driven it for just over 3,400 miles.

Ferrari F40 was one of the last cars born under the management of the late Enzo Ferrari, mainly produced from 1987 to 1992. Wolff’s edition is from 1990 and has a 2.9-liter turbo V8 engine installed. It helps the F40 generate up to 478 hp and hit a top speed of 202 mph.
Like Toto Wolff, even his drivers have got some cool cars in their collection. The recent Mercedes recruit George Russell too has grown his car collection alongside his growing financial net worth. Meanwhile, Wolff always shared his passion for cars with Lewis Hamilton.
Like Toto Wolff, Lewis Hamilton also owns a $5.5 Million Beast
Besides sharing an immense passion for F1, Lewis Hamilton shares a similar level of interest in supercars as his boss Toto Wolff. This was evident ahead of the 2022 British GP when the 7-time champion flaunted his amazing supercar worth $5.5 million approx.
