Recently, Mercedes took to social media to hint at the unveiling of their new car for the 2021 Formula 1 season. Even though they did not reveal much about the car itself, fans were quite excited. This post comes in the thick of their contract negotiations with Lewis Hamilton.
Fans hope the announcement about the car could be a positive sign about the driver line-up. However, there is no official announcement about the driver line-up from Brackley-based outfit yet.

However, in a video released by Mercedes on their YouTube channel, Technical Director, James Allison outlines the process of making the new car.
“We found ourselves in this very, very unusual position over the winter of not having all the normal stresses and strains on the organisation of the huge production effort of making a new chassis….because many of those aspects of the W11, our 2020 car, were simply inherited in 2021 by the W12.”
