Mercedes F1 Teases Lewis Hamilton Appearance at Upcoming W13 Car Launch

Lewis Hamilton recently returned to social media after a 2-month long absence. His absence from social media platforms had many questioning whether he will return to the sport next season. But those reports have been put to rest after he has resumed activity on his Instagram account.

Fans expect Hamilton to be present at the Mercedes livery launch.

Will we see Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes’ 2022 car launch?

As reported by Motorsport-Turkey, the team released a statement announcing that the livery launch would be live-streamed on their social media platforms. The statement also revealed who all will be attending the launch of the new W13.

“We’ll be officially unveiling our first car for this new era, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E Performance, on Friday, February 18. Our new car will be unveiled in a digital launch presentation that will be broadcast live across our social media channels,” said the Mercedes AMG team.

” You’ll also have the chance to hear from our 2022 drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, and our Team Principal and CEO, Toto Wolff. Technical Director Mike Elliott and Managing Director of Mercedes AMG High-Performance Powertrains, Hywel Thomas, will also feature, talking in more detail about the technical changes for this season.

Although there has been no confirmation from Hamilton regarding his appearance at the livery launch, the 7-time-champion is expected to not miss the livery launch and confirm his participation in the upcoming season.

We expect that Mercedes and Lewis will bounce back from the disappointment of the season finale. With George Russell as the new teammate, Hamilton will have an able driver to compete against. Hopefully, we will see the Mercedes driver in his official capacity on February 18.
