It is no secret that Red Bull and Mercedes are arch-title rivals. Both teams constantly have a go at each other, filing complaints such as the DAS system by Mercedes last season, RB16B’s flexi wing, and now the Silver Arrows have lodged a complaint regarding Red Bull’s pitstop.

The advisor for the Milton-Keynes-based outfit, Dr. Helmut Marko feels that the attack from the Silver Arrows on their pit stop seems like warfare.

The beef between Wolff and Horner intensifies

Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff feels that their rivals from Milton-Keynes have an unfair advantage as their flexi wings give them more speed but also breach certain rules set by the FIA regarding aerodynamics.

However, Christian Horner feels that Wolff should keep his mouth shut as he has an advantage with the front wing. As quoted from the Autosport, Horner said, “I think if I was Toto with the front wing he’s got on his car, I’d keep my mouth shut.”

Now as the rivals prepare for the French Grand Prix, both are hoping to overcome each other. Particularly, Mercedes who are looking to bounce back after their disastrous weekend in Baku will hope they can catch up to the Raging Bulls, who currently lead the championship table.
