While the F1 drivers bring the heat on the track, their girlfriends bring the heat off it in the paddock. Kelly Piquet, Rebecca Donaldson, and Alexandra Saint Mleux all bring the glamor to the paddock. Rebecca Donaldson and Kelly Piquet are models and always showcase flamboyant outfits. F1 drivers on the other hand are seen wearing the team jerseys full of sponsorship. However, Lewis Hamilton has broken this norm and features designer clothing as he walks into the paddock.

Hamilton has now stolen Kelly Piquet’s thunder at the Miami GP as Max Verstappen’s girlfriend showcased her $30,000 accessory. Lewis Hamilton at the GQ awards talked about how he never had the time to discover any other passion except for F1 when he was young. It was when he started achieving success in F1 that he felt something was missing, and then he discovered all his passions including music and fashion.

And despite finding it later on in his life, the 7X champ had managed to steal Kelly Piquet’s thunder, who is a professional model and has worked with Vogue. Kelly Piquet walked into the Miami GP this weekend wearing Material Good’s jewelry and an all-white outfit. However, it was her handbag that caught the eyes of many. She accessorized her with the Hermes Kelly handbag worth $30,000, which was originally made for Princess Kelly.

But Lewis Hamilton not only takes attention on track but off it as well as he arrives at the Miami paddock wearing a blinged-out outfit, with a black shirt and baggy trousers covered with small circular mirrors all over. The outfit is a part of Marc Jacobs Spring 2024 Runway Collection and was a customized piece for the 7X world champion. The outfit definitely stole Kelly Piquet’s thunder.

However, while Lewis Hamilton pulls off these outfits effortlessly, it isn’t really an easy job as he revealed the behind-the-scenes of how he selects outfits and why it sometimes is a struggle.

Lewis Hamilton Reveals Struggles and “Price of Fashion”

Lewis Hamilton’s Miami GP outfit definitely looked great on him, but can you imagine the 7X champ walking into the paddock wearing all that weight? As per wwwd.com, Lewis Hamilton said, “There’s a lot of planning. It’s ultimately looking at brands that I admire. I try to collaborate with designers, and they come up with custom pieces, which is always awesome. In the different locations I go to, I love to utilize my platform to highlight up-and-coming designers as well. There’s a lot of options but I only have four days, there’s only so much you can wear to the track. And then I have to get back into the [team’s racing] kit. I wish there were more days.”
