It looks like Mercedes is getting the old crew back together. For Lewis Hamilton, who is preparing for his 8th world champion title, Mercedes is ready to go all out in 2024. Recently the team announced the return of James Allison and it looks like Mercedes is leaving no stone unturned for the upcoming season.

The preparation took another leap forward when an interesting development took place. Hamilton has been working with Canadian media talent manager Penni Thow since 2021. However, the management agreement between Thow’s company Copper and Lewis Hamilton expired in December 2023. And now it looks like the driver called in an old friend for assistance.

While having talks with The Telegraph, Lewis Hamilton’s spokesperson came forth to let the world know about the latest occurrence in the Mercedes F1 team. While telling Telegraph Sport about Hynes’ role in the team, Hamilton’s spokesperson said: “Lewis is looking forward to the beginning of the new Formula One season, and he will be working with Marc Hynes, his long-term friend and former colleague who will be providing his expertise to assist Lewis on the track. Marc will be solely focused on racing activities and supporting Lewis’s commitment to bringing the fight back to the top spot.”

During Hamilton’s F1 career, Hynes stood beside him which led Lewis to win 4 Championships. Ever since they parted ways, Max Verstappen has taken over and has been the reigning World Champion. But now that Hynes is back, it looks like the Brit is ready to re-engage his full potential and unleash it on the tracks.

Marc Hynes, who was previously the chief executive of Project Forty-Four, will now be solely focused on racing activities. His role includes accompanying Hamilton to races and providing trackside support. With Hynes back in the team, it looks like all the pieces are aligning for a great season and a possible 8th Championship title for Lewis Hamilton.
