The world of Lewis Hamilton stood still when one of his closest confidants revealed her decision to leave his side after seven years. Angela Cullen, Hamilton’s performance coach, left him at the start of the 2023 season after joining his team in 2016. During her time with Hamilton, the Brit collected multiple accolades on his way to winning four championships back to back. The New Zealander’s contribution to these championships is unquantifiable but extremely significant. Keeping the Mercedes man in top shape since 2016, the two formed an inseparable bond. Cullen showcased that with her 1-word message of appreciation on Hamilton’s brother, Nicolas’, latest Instagram post.

The separation was painful for both parties, as was made apparent by multiple statements of longing in the aftermath. However, despite going their separate ways, the love between Cullen and Hamilton didn’t grow less. In fact, this bond extended to the entire family. We can see the evidence of that in Nicolas Hamilton‘s latest Instagram post, where he talks about his condition on World Cerebral Palsy Day.

Nicolas posted a photo of himself from his childhood on 6th October to recognize and talk about Cerebral Palsy, a condition he suffers from. He took the opportunity to address his condition in the caption which read, “World Cerebral Palsy Day – A day when I take time to acknowledge my condition, the severity of my condition, which I so often try to ignore in order for me to live as freely and as independently as possible. A day where I realise how far I have come, the magnitude of my achievements, and the people I inspire and help as I take them on my journey.”

“A day that acknowledges all those that continue to strive to overcome their Cerebral Palsy, those that struggle with their Cerebral Palsy, and those that support others through their Cerebral Palsy. A day to be proud, to never shy away from the condition, the daily pain and discomfort it presents. Embrace it, live with it, and learn to love it.  #Inspire #CerebralPalsy.”

In this post, Cullen summed up Nicolas’s contribution with a one-word message that speaks volumes. She commented, GOAT
