Mercedes Reveal the Launch Date for Highly-Anticipated 2022 F1 Challenger W13

The Formula One 2022 season is just a few months away, and teams are getting ready to unveil their title challenger for next season. So far, McLaren, Ferrari, and Aston Martin have announced when they will show their car. And, now Mercedes have dropped their date for the showcase of the W13, too.

The racing community is excited to see what the Silver Arrows have in store for them for the 2022 season. With other teams also announcing their cars around the same time, fans are gearing up for the forthcoming season of Formula One.

Mercedes gets added to the list of the teams announcing their 2022 challenger

The Brackley-based outfit won their eighth constructors’ title last season after a long and intense battle against Red Bull. However, their driver, Lewis Hamilton lost a potential eighth world title to Max Verstappen in the closing stages of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Now with the upcoming season just around the corner, they hope to learn from whatever few mistakes they made and reach new heights. The Toto Wolff-led team will announce their 2022 challenger on February 18th; exactly a month from now.

The Silver Arrows put in overtime to be ahead of the competition

The Brackley-based squad is responsible for building perhaps the most dominant vehicles on the Formula One grid. The squad has won eight constructors’ championships ever since the hybrid era began. The team are preparing for the 2022 season as we enter a new age of racing.

While most other teams are probably on the Christmas break to recover from the season, Mercedes has been busy firing up its W13. Fans can’t wait to see the next generation of cars zip around the track and compete against each other.
