Under the “Mexican Vibes” section of the video, Leclerc said, “Mexico is always a very special place. The passion that is there is incredible. A win in Mexico will be a tremendous boost for Leclerc and Ferrari. In fact, a win in Mexico will put the Italian team level with Mercedes on the all-time race win record in Mexico at three race wins.

Chasing the record down and the P2 spot in the constructors Leclerc will need to be quick on his feet exactly how he was in Japan.

While there was uncertainty in the Mercedes camp, Leclerc was linked with the Brackley-based outfit on many occasions. However, Leclerc’s heart lies with Ferrari, and he wants to be a champion with the Italian team. Now, as the two teams fight for the P2 spot in the championship, the focus lies on maximizing the points and beating the other team while doing so. The Monegasque did exactly that during the Japanese GP and loved making Mercedes look ridiculous during the race on Suzuka.
