Kevin mentioned Mick is very much interested in learning more and more about the sport. But there is one quality of his teammate that caught him out.

Kevin Magnussen comments on his working relationship with Mick Schumacher

In Formula One, your teammate is your number one competition in the sport. He’s the first point of reference and every driver wants to beat his teammate when they go out on track. This means that sometimes teammates often tend to hide stuff from each other so that the other person cannot use that as a weakness.

But Kevin mentioned Mick was very open with him and likes to learn from his experience. “He’s a super nice guy, very friendly, very polite, and he’s good with everyone, everyone loves him. He is also very curious and asks a lot of questions. This kind of communication between teammates is rare in Formula 1,” said Magnussen.

“Some drivers are too proud, some do not want to share information, and some are afraid to show weakness. However, Mick doesn’t even care. He just wants to learn,” concluded the Haas driver.
