Wolff called Schumacher Jr. to the Mercedes factory, the duo sat down, had talks, and ultimately agreed on a reserve duty behind Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. As the young German has joined the team from his motherland, another opportunity arrived at his doorstep, about which Mick Schumacher can be everything but unhappy. Interestingly, the move is now a “full circle” given his father’s tie to the McLaren boss.
