F1 is an international sport and travels around the world annually to host races. This season, the sport will go to 23 different cities, over the world, to execute the longest F1 calendar in its history. The reason the sport can successfully conduct races around the world is its logistical superiority.

The teams send their freights containing equipment using three modes of transport- land, water, and air. But in recent years, it has become increasingly difficult for teams to manage the logistics of the sport.

But the main reason it would be difficult for the 2022 season is the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Because of the rise in global tensions, it has become increasingly difficult for flights to fly over the airspace of the country.

F1 has already seen a freight delay in form of the Haas F1 team, fearing losing track time on the first day of the official pre-season test in Bahrain.

The sport needs to realize that logistical problems are slowly becoming a nightmare in the current scenario for the teams. F1 needs to come up with some solutions as quickly as possible so that the teams can smoothly conduct a 23 race season in 2022. The sport does not want any team to suffer during a race weekend because of their freights not arriving on time.
