Chloe Stroll, Lance Stroll‘s sister, and Lawrence Stroll’s daughter married her long-time boyfriend, Scotty James, last weekend. Scotty, an ace snowboarder with a bronze Olympic medal to his name, is a great friend of Daniel Ricciardo. Daniel was one of his groomsmen. The Honey Badger had a special someone along with him to grace the wedding. The pair also featured in the pictures Ricciardo uploaded on Instagram and instantly stole the show.

When the news of Ricciardo being in Italy broke, many believed it to be a sign of him preparing to replace Nyck de Vries. The Dutchman has failed to live up to expectations at AlphaTauri and sources say that Helmut Marko has delivered him a 3-race ultimatum. However, the rumors around Daniel’s unexpected F1 return turned out to be untrue, as he was there just to attend his fellow Aussie mate’s wedding.

The wedding and the after-party turned out to be quite a starry affair, as F1 bosses made their way as well. Going by the pictures former Renault boss Flavio Briatore put out on Instagram, Mercedes manager Toto Wolff, his wife, and the director of the all-female championship of F1 Academy, Susie Wolff joined him. Also present was F1 boss Stefano Domenicali.

Not to start any photography wars, but the ones that Daniel clicked turned out to be far better. It’s not just us saying it, but fans were also swooning over them. Even the groom couldn’t help but comment under the post, “Sub par groomsman… but these photos are unbelievable! Love ya bro xx.”
