The 2023 F1 season just keeps throwing one surprise after the other. At the 2023 British GP only, we saw Williams outperform the likes of Aston Martin and Mercedes in the practice on a genuine one-lap pace. Can we say that McLaren is back? Well their qualifying at the British GP certainly points toward a massive comeback. After a Brilliant qualifying in Austria by Lando Norris in the upgraded McLaren, the British GP qualifying was one better as Norris finished P2 and Piastri P3. Both The Ferraris were the first to cross the line just half a second shy of Max Verstappen’s pole lap. Many fans explained how they screamed when Norris was provisionally on the pole while some advised that their jaws dropped massively after the Briton’s stellar performance.
