One of the most prestigious races in the world, the 24 hours of Le Mans needs no introduction. 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the legendary racing fixture. The Le Mans anniversary has already generated plenty of interest from various auto manufacturers. Following the hype, NASCAR will also feature in the upcoming race. A Chevrolet Camaro will feature in the race representing the American stock car racing competition. However, for the race, NASCAR has chosen a former F1 world champion to take part in the prestigious racing competition.
Garage 56 will host a Chevrolet Camaro LZ1 entered by the Hendrick Motorsports team. This will mark the first appearance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from the team. If you are wondering who is the former F1 world champion driving the car, it’s none other than Jenson Button.

Good first day of testing @cota_official for the @nascarg56 squad. I’m in tomorrow for my first time back on track here at COTA since 2016! Lap times might be a little different 🤣”
