After achieving the ultimate goal in Formula 1, Jenson Button has been on an exploration mission. After F1, the Brit explored the world of Super GT racing and then stepped into the endurance racing league as well. To summarize, the 2009 world champion has been around the racing game since the start of the century. However, it wasn’t until 2023 and his debut in NASCAR that the Brit found some genuine excitement and a little lust for revenge.

These are the words of Button himself as he posted about his debut race on Instagram. The rollercoaster ride was full of emotions and a plethora of physical sensations as well. The Brit predicted this, as he already had mixed feelings about his new challenge in the stock car racing series. However, he couldn’t predict his race, as he mentioned in the caption of the post.

The caption read, “Well that was the craziest 4hrs of my racing career 🤣 think I hit or got hit almost every lap!! What an experience, learning a very different type of race craft, finding good pace and consistency, fighting heat exhaustion, surviving the last 3 restarts and making some aggressive moves oh and revenge is sweet 😉. Still a lot to learn but loved it and pretty happy with placing the @mobil1racing #15 in P18 out of 39 after a rollercoaster race. Bring on Chicago 👊🏽.”
