Lady love can be a cruel mistress at times. While Lewis Hamilton has had the world at his feet ever since he debuted in Formula 1 in 2007, it would appear that his personal life isn’t as amicable to the 7x champion as his fans are. The fortunes of the 38-year-old on track have been on the up recently. But rather than crediting Mercedes‘ stellar development in 2023, fans have attributed this to his rumored belle, Shakira.

The Colombian icon has been seen regularly attending F1 races, and coincidentally, Hamilton has been doing well. That being said, it all seems to have come to naught. It would appear that the 46-year-old singer has rekindled a past romance and probably left the Brit high and dry.

Shakira seems to have added more fuel to the ‘Jimmy Butler‘ dating fire after she was seen at the Miami Heat game recently and clicked having a dinner date with the 33-year-old who hails from Houston, Texas.

But how is the 7x champion dealing with this romantic setback? Well, he’s channeling his inner sorrow by sweating it out in the gym as he prepares to focus his rage on getting another podium finish at the Hungarian GP.

He took to his Instagram today to share a few pictures of his ripped self in the gym, and captioned it, “In my sport, every kilo matters. Even being a little off impacts lap times and race pace. It?s crucial to eat well, sleep well, and put in work at the gym. If you?re ever having a tough time remember that we?re in this together. It?s never easy, but always worth it.”

But if the events post-Silverstone are anything to go by, all’s not lost for Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton cruised his way from 7th on the grid to a splendid podium finish at his Home Grand Prix in Silverstone last week. Needless to say, he earned it and was in the mood to party after an intense and emotional day of work. And guess who joined him?

According to The Sun a source told, “After watching Lewis come third at Silverstone, Shakira joined him for a massive party at Tape nightclub. They were on a VIP table together in the venue and Shakira was seen locked in conversation with Lewis as well as various other members of his entourage.”
