Shakira seems to have a new beau, and it’s another sportsperson! Who is it? Miami Heat NBA player Jimmy Butler. 

Could this be the start of a love triangle between Shakira, Butler, and Hamilton, or did Butler and Shakira’s recent outing just put all the Hamilton rumors to rest, with the Colombian singer breaking another heart?

Could Lewis Hamilton follow in Tom Cruise’s footsteps?

Rumors about Jimmy Butler and Shakira started going around earlier this year during the NBA Playoffs, and after the singer attended one of the games during the Finals, and the two personalities started following each other on social media, the rumors picked up. But they never overpowered her rumors with Hamilton. That is, until two days ago. Shakira was spotted on a date night with Butler, where the pair looked cozy. And even though they arrived and left the restaurant separately, as per Us Weekly, they’re dating. “Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him.”

This happened just a day after her night out with Hamilton. Shakira landed in London on the weekend of the British GP and made her way to the circuit for the race on Sunday. After the Brit’s record-extending podium, the two spent the night partying till 3:30 am, after which their rumors were at an all-time high. But with the Butler claims, could she be setting up Hamilton for heartbreak like she did Tom Cruise?

The pop star made her first F1 appearance at the Miami GP, where she stayed close to Hollywood star Tom Cruise the whole time. The pair even left the circuit early to spend time together, but a day later, a source told Us Weekly that “Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1, but she has no interest in dating him.” Cruise didn’t take too well to that, but at that point, Cruise had no idea about Lewis and Shakira’s dating rumors. When he found out, “It was a big hole for Tom’s ego. It hurt him even more because he considers Lewis a friend.”

Neither Hamilton nor Shakira confirmed dating rumors in the past months. And because Butler and Hamilton don’t have friendly relations, the news might not affect Hamilton the way it did Cruise. But if there were anything between him and Shakira, it would hurt regardless. But the seven-time champion seems unbothered as he’s enjoying his break in Ibiza.

Lewis Hamilton spotted with two models in Ibiza

After a successful outing at his home race in Silverstone, where he achieved a record-extending 14th podium at the circuit—and in Shakira’s presence—Hamilton spent the night with Shakira at Club Tape London. Although their rumors became stronger than ever after that, Shakira went out with Butler the following day, and Hamilton didn’t stick around long either.

According to Mirror, Hamilton climbed aboard a yacht and set sail to Ibiza before the Hungarian GP next weekend. But he wasn’t alone! The Brit was in the company of Norwegian tennis prospect Jenny Stray Spetalen and Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez. He looks to be enjoying his time off, getting the break he needs.
