Senna was an inspiration to many drivers

He gained some experience with the then-Lotus team for a few years in the 1980s. However, it really was with Honda McLaren that he enjoyed some of his most successful years.

Senna secured three championships, including consecutive ones in 1990 and 1991. The latter, in particular, was a dominant season for him personally as he finished on the podium 12 out of the 16 races that took place.

However, he suffered a huge crash at Imola in 1994, which led to his untimely death. Senna was a racing giant of his time, with a fearless mindset every time he took to the circuit. And the series will only strive to commemorate his personality, for all the racing fans.
