More truth is starting to come out of the infamous Nelson Piquet interview, that quite recently dragged a whole lot of controversy into the world of Formula One. As expected, the Brazilian’s comments hurled at Lewis Hamilton grabbed most of the attention when the interview initially came to light.
However, just as the buzz around this serious squabble is starting to disintegrate, here’s another bit from the same interview that has the capacity to ignite another major warfare within the F1 community. This time, however, it’s not Hamilton taking the blow, but his former arch-rival, Nico Rosberg’s father, Keke Rosberg.

The 73-year-old is one of the former F1 drivers to have raced with Piquet in the 1980s. As it turns out, Piquet doesn’t seem to have enjoyed his battles with the Finn, considering his choice of words to describe Rosberg Sr.
Piquet went on to compare Rosberg’s world championship victory in 1982 to his son, Nico Rosberg’s much recent title victory in 2016. Wondering how the three-time world champion described his former racing colleague? Well, he said Keke “was a piece of sh*t.”

But, wait, there’s more! The racist part, again, targeted at Lewis Hamilton, comes after the poor characterization of Rosberg.
Rosberg’s father joins Lewis Hamilton, faces the wrath of Piquet
Piquet opined that Keke’s championship victory had no value much like his son’s victory in 2016. However, what followed was a rather bitter comment on Hamilton yet again, which certainly seemed unnecessary, let alone the racial discrimination and homophobic language.
“The Keke? It was sh*t. It had no value. It’s like his son [Nico]. He won a championship… The (expletive) should have been giving more a*s at that time, then it was kind of bad,” Piquet added, according to Grande Premio. (Translated via Google Translate)

Quite an unpleasant comment, wasn’t it? Well, it is likely that F1 would have had a look at the interview before deciding to shun Piquet off the paddock. And it is certainly obvious that there weren’t one or two but multiple racial attacks hurled at the seven-time world champion, who, quite blatantly, is the face of the sport.

Before leaving this article, have a look at some of the fan reactions after the Rosberg incident came to light:
Lo and behold! More disturbing information has emerged from that Piquet interview. This time, more slurs and more attacks on Lewis and even Nico and Keke Rosberg. You guys came on here to tell us about translations. It's CLEAR. No misinterpretations. Disgraceful!

Anyone see old Bernie on tv last night? He’d take a bullet for putin, nice man, Piquet was racist about Lewis and said Rosberg was a piece of s—-t,also made homophobic references. I think that proves what Lewis has said about some of the old guard.

@NaturalParadigm I really wish you hadn't shared this video. It's triggering.

Notice how he says the name 'Keke' and acknowledges Nico as the 'son' 🙄.
……but Lewis is called the n-word + the complimentary homophobic slur🤬
This is the "nice, non-racist guy" that Max was speaking of with the 'loss in translation' bullish*t excuse.

Let's see how long it'll take for some people to call it a "translation error" again.

It’s ok, Max said he was a nice guy. Must have just been a few more translation misunderstandings….

When I thought it just couldn't get worse…This is abhorent. I was fairly certain that there was no loss in translation as some people claimed, this is just the final and decisive proof. The man was on a hate-spreading marathon there.
