Haas gets a makeover for the 2021 season

The team got Uralkali to be their title sponsor for the new season. The company is owned by Nikita Mazepin’s father, Dmitry Mazepin. The deal also saw a change in their livery for the upcoming season.

A major change was done to the car’s design. In the past, the team ran with black and gold when they have backed up Rich Energy, in 2020 they ran red and white on their black car. However, the new partnership sees that the team incorporates the colors of the Russian flag on the new machinery.

Team owner Gene Haas said, ” I’m very pleased to welcome Uralkali to Formula 1 as title partner to Haas F1 Team. We look forward to representing their brand throughout the season. It’s an exciting time for the team with Uralkali coming onboard”

An exceptional driver lineup for the team

The 2021 season is a new year for the team, after parting ways with Romain Grosjean & Kevin Magnussen. Haas got two talented drivers from the F2 championship, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin.

Schumacher won the F2 championship last year while Mazepin showed what talent he had behind the wheel. The duo will hope to take Haas to the next level in their debut year on the F1 grid.
