The ‘Multiverse of Madness’ is famous, but the British GP is now experiencing the ‘Multiverse of Sportspersons’. This is because the famous Kansas City quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, appeared at Silverstone to attend the British GP at the same time when his fellow NFL star Travis Kelce chanced upon Oscar Piastri! While the NFL season is going to start soon, the players are enjoying the last few days they will get away from the game. While Mahomes has set out on a journey across Europe with his wife Brittany and three kids, Travis Kelce took a trip to Amsterdam sans Taylor Swift, his girlfriend.

The British GP is one of the oldest races on the calendar, having debuted in 1950. To date, it commands a huge popularity and is one of the most-viewed Grands Prix in Formula 1. Needless to say, several celebrities also appear at the paddocks during the three-day race weekend at Silverstone. This time, Patrick Mahomes has ventured to the historic circuit, as he had confirmed during a recent interview about his travel plans before the NFL season kicks off. At that time, the American footballer had said he would visit the Wimbledon Games too.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight end for Mahomes’ team, posted a picture of himself laughing with his friends while an F1 race was playing on the projector. The hawk-eyed fans did not take too long to point out it was Oscar Piastri who had made an unexpected ‘cameo’ in Kelce’s picture. The snapshot also showed the 34-year-old tending to a tall glass of some drink as he sported a white t-shirt and a hat that looked very similar to his girlfriend Taylor’s.

Interestingly, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have a very significant connection to Formula 1. The two are the lead investors of the Otra Capital investment group that bought $218 million worth of stakes in Alpine last year. Alpine is currently undergoing some changes at the root level as Esteban Ocon is going to exit the French outfit this year. Also, Flavio Briatore, the former Renault man who got banned from F1 amidst the Singapore GP 2008 crashgate scandal, is returning to an advisor role at the team. But has Kelce ever attended an F1 Grand Prix before?

Travis Kelce attended Miami GP despite his busy schedule

As a star who runs after a busy schedule, Travis Kelce still managed to visit the F1 paddock during the Miami GP weekend. The 3-time Super Bowl winner also appeared at the Kentucky Derby just a day before flying to Florida for the F1 race. However, he did not bring his girlfriend Taylor Swift to the event. The American pop sensation has never set foot at a Formula 1 Grand Prix at all.

In Travis Kelce’s attendance, Lando Norris won the Miami GP. After the papaya army racer attained victory, he went partying with Kelce at the E11EVEN Nightclub. Also present at the celebration were LeBron James and Kevin Durant, important NBA celebs. Norris is famous for his wild partying habits as he once hurt his nose while enjoying a gala in the Netherlands. However, it proved to be a good omen for the Belgian-British racer since his first-ever F1 GP win came just after he got injured.

Lando Norris’ next race win needs to come soon if he wants to cling to his #2 place in the World Championship. The McLaren driver has regularly achieved the podium finish in the last few races, but a victory is what he chases. At the recently-held British GP, he was running in the topmost spot for a long time before Lewis Hamilton grabbed the race win.
