F1 and NFL are two of the most popular sports in the world. Formula 1, being mainly a European sport, has more worldwide reach, while the NFL has more fanbase in the United States. However, being fan-favorite sports, the two can learn a lot from each other. F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who is also a stakeholder of an NFL team, explains how.

Talking about this, Hamilton conveyed, “There’s definitely things that we [F1] can learn. I mean, how America puts on shows and events, there’s definitely a lot that us Europeans can learn from and I think we are starting to kind of bridge those, The Best of Both Worlds together.”

“I’m sure there’s things that the US can learn some of the things we do in Europe as well so yeah, I only see this sport climbing,” further asserted the seven-time world champion in an interview with ESPN ahead of the 2022 United States Grand Prix at Austin, Texas.

The Mercedes star driver also shared the intense attitude of NFL players which he loves. Hamilton stated, “It’s an intense sport. What I love about the players is which is a little bit different to some of the others. It’s just the impact they get and they continue on, you know there’s no foul play.”

Lewis Hamilton, the co-owner of the NFL team Denver Broncos, stated that he doesn’t regret having invested in the Football League. The Silver Arrows ace admitted to this during the recent show with Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The seven-time world champion told during the show that he’s happy with the investment despite a poor show from the Broncos after the takeover. Moreover, Hamilton was present in the stands during a game while he was in the United States for the US Grand Prix last week.

Hamilton was a part of the consortium that took over the Denver team during the summer. The Briton was an investor in the Walter-Penna group who won the bid unanimously. The takeover was the most expensive sports deal, after which Hamilton became an owner of the three-time Super Bowl champions.
