Despite his incredible cameo during the 2023 season, Liam Lawson has become a fleeting memory around the paddock. After his stint with then-AlphaTauri, the New Zealander is now fulfilling his duties as a reserve driver for the Red Bull and Visa Cash App RB team. However, with not much racing action in his life, he’s been keeping busy with off-track duties. During the shooting of one such off-track activity, he was asked the question on every American’s mind: Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce, and Lawson’s answer will shock you.

Lawson is the star of a documentary that Red Bull is shooting. We’re not sure about the contents of the documentary or what it will feature but we know Lawson is the focal point. During the shooting, he sat down for a rapid-fire round and had to answer an interesting set of questions, as seen on his YouTube Vlog. One of those questions was, “Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce?”

The two American stars made their relationship public in September 2023 and broke the internet. They became the talk of the town and how. Swift’s NFL appearances also became regular as the incredibly busy stars found work-life balance.

With the news spreading like wildfire, it was time to pick who the world liked better among the two. Despite Swift and Kelce being a team, the world decided to put them in separate teams and made everyone choose, including Lawson. Who did he side with? Well, when asked the question, the Kiwi quickly said, “Taylor Swift”.

Now you know Liam Lawson is a Swifty and we don’t blame him. The incredibly talented singer has millions, if not billions, in her team. However, the only team Lawson wanted to be a part of was Red Bull.

Liam Lawson reveals the heartbreaking truth bomb he received before the 2023 Singapore GP

Lawson gave a good account of himself during the five-race cameo for AlphaTauri. His heroics made many believe he might get the nod for a drive in the 2024 season. Despite the odds against him, he believed it as well and drove every race with the thought of proving his worth at the back of his mind. However, it was the 2023 Singapore GP, where he was given a heartbreaking reality check and he detailed his feelings during a recent chat with Sky Sports F1.

Lawson said, Singapore was also a bit tough because, honestly, all of those moments were really special. But in the back of my mind, it was really hard to enjoy them because it was that Saturday right before qualifying that I… I was told I wasn’t going to be driving this year.”

He explained what was going through his mind, “So, obviously, I was in Formula 1. I was trying to prove myself, and I knew in the back of my mind that they were probably going to pick Daniel and Yuki for this year. But I still felt like I had an opportunity to maybe change that decision, and I got told right before qualifying that that was not going to be the case.”

“But I knew that, you know, at the end of the day, the whole goal is to try and get a Formula 1 seat. That’s what I’m doing this for. And, you know, I knew that wasn’t going to happen this year. So, honestly, took away from that a little bit,” he concluded.
