Coming to the news, Hamilton would be quite happy, as there were several reports of Payton facing issues from the ownership group. As Lewis is part of this group, there was some baseless backlash that could have taken a bad turn. Although, Sean Payton cleared the air citing that there was “zero truth” to these reports.
Eventually, this signing from the Broncos is a big lifeline for their star quarterback Russell Wilson. After a mediocre 2022 season, he would want to work with Payton and improve himself. Even Sean is excited to work with the $245 million quarterback.
As per Sports Illustrated, Payton said, “Russell is a hard worker and has played at a high level and won a lot of games in this league. The pressure is on us to put a good run game together and reduce the degree of difficulty on his position. I’m excited about him.”
Meanwhile, fans are happy about Lewis getting active in the Broncos’ updates. Several NFL enthusiasts welcomed Hamilton into the Broncos Country as they reacted to the Briton’s excitement about his franchise.
