Red Bull had briefly considered the Rhinelander beside Verstappen in 2021. However, Sergio Perez kept delivering performances that just strengthened his case. Eventually the Mexican bagged his seat with the Milton Keynes outfit, while Nico looks for alternative options.

Nico Hulkenberg has the potential to be in F1. Honestly, it is a shame that a driver of his rank could not secure a seat in F1. It portrays that the sport is competitive at all the wrong places. Drivers who have the mettle are not getting the chance because it is nothing but a game of money.

The Rhinelander was earlier heard considering his role as a sub driver. With the infection of COVID-19 still looming over our heads like an axe dangling on a loose string, we cannot dismiss the prospect. With several championships and annual events, he has several options to choose from.”Various inquiries from other racing series, but nothing specific‘ has hit the German. He probably will have to ‘look around for alternativesstated Hulkenberg. Well, all the best to him and hopefully he can find his way back to the F1 paddock in the future.
