Sebastian Vettel had struggled immensely in the first four races of the season and had a generous dose of bad luck too. However, at Monaco, the Vettel of old was back. The Aston Martin driver put in an incredible performance this Sunday to take home his first points of the season with an impressive P5 finish. it wasn’t just the fans who were happy for the four-time world champion, but also former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg.

The 2016 championship winner praised his fellow countryman for his exploits in Monaco. Nico said (translated via Google), “I’m very happy for Sebastian, we’ve had to criticize him so much in the last few weeks and years. Now we’ve seen old Sebastian, the phenomenal driver.

“He’ll definitely get him from me ten out of ten. The reason is the two laps he made when Gasly and Hamilton were already in the pits. They were so phenomenal and strong that he overtook both of them. A great weekend for him.”
