The drivers might be having difficulty seeing the apex of the turn 15 until the driver reaches the turn 14. Further, the drivers reported there is an unprotected wall at this part of the circuit which costs more damage to the car.

After the two crashes, the drivers asked FIA to get more safety at that turn. However, FIA refused to lend an ear to the complaints. Further, the McLaren driver Lando Norris supported the two drivers and said, “As drivers, we often know better than the experts where the risks lie. You should listen to us every now and then. We gave our recommendation after Carlos’ accident, and the FIA didn’t react. It’s not OK.”
