It’s obviously the talk of the town Fernando Alonso. The world of Formula 1 is in awe of the Spaniard once again, and there’s no denying his abilities. However, somehow, Alonso is back to his old self even at the ripe age of 41. How is he doing that? The Haas boss Guenther Steiner has an answer.

Similar to everyone in the world of F1, Guenther Steiner is now a fan of Alonso. After crossing the 40-year-old mark and joining Aston Martin, the Spaniard is delivering some incredible results. In an interview with talkSPORT, as quoted by Marca, Steiner credited the resurgence to a special set of skills that are unique to him.

“Everyone who follows F1 knows that Fernando is a driver who has a set of skills that none of the other drivers have. In my opinion, he doesn’t need a strategist or anything like that. He can manage his career from inside the car. He is extremely good at that and he also has a lot of driving talent. That is where Alonso is so strong,” said the Haas boss.

“Being over 40 years old has made him better instead of regressing. His is certainly incredible. The decision he made last year to change teams turned out to be quite good for him,” Steiner added.
