A sizable orange army had been charmed over by Max Verstappen thanks to his aggressive clashes with Lewis Hamilton, peculiar radio exchanges with his team, and exquisite driving abilities. Last year, he won a total of 17 races out of the 22 that he competed in, and this year, he’s kept that streak alive by winning 8 of the 10 races. The 25-year-old Dutchman has received many honors for himself on the road to fame. Recently, when posed with the question of his desire for legacy, Verstappen delivered a wonderful response, illustrating the true meaning of life.

Max Verstappen was able to quickly establish himself at the top of the competitive Formula 1 world. With just 11 victories left, he hopes to overcome German legend Sebastian Vettel to move up to third place on the drivers with most wins list. He has also joined the elite group of drivers who have distinguished themselves by winning consecutive races in a row, exemplifying the true essence of dominance and determination.

However, when it comes to the longevity of Max Verstappen’s F1 career, nobody can guess until when the Dutchman keeps his foot on the gas. Nevertheless, he has frequently given us hints that F1 is not the only thing that matters in his life. Verstappen also disregarded any desire for a legacy in a recent interview with CNN, which focused on the basic essence of life.

He said, “I’m here at the moment trying to achieve everything I can, and I try to, of course, give everything I have to that. But I also know there’s much more to life than only Formula 1. Once I’m done with Formula 1, I want to just enjoy my life and do other things and then what happened in Formula 1 is done.” Later he added, “It’s not something probably I will look back to when I’m 60 or 70.”

Verstappen has been a driver in a league of his own. And because of his skill and agility, any team would want to have him lead their “respective” squads as a team boss to greater heights of success. And when this exact question was out in front of the double champion, he gave a logical response.

Even Verstappen does not yet know where his Formula 1 career will end up. Though his current Red Bull contract will expire in 2028, and with Christian Horner and Helmut Marko putting rubber on his uncertainty about his F1 career, the fans may wish to see their beloved driver return to the Formula 1 grid. And for a champion like Verstappen, what could be better than the position of team principal?

Despite being the owner of Verstappen.com racing, the Dutchman finds it a hard task to run any team. He said, “It’s a lot of traveling, and you’ve already done that as a driver. So I definitely don’t want to do it again as a team principal.”
