Hosting a Formula One Grand Prix in a country is a huge deal. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it an even bigger deal, as many races have been canceled. With uncertainty still looming over the world of Formula One, F1 boss Stefano Domenicali is disappointed not to have one particular race on the calendar, i.e. the German Grand Prix.
Although the 2022 Formula One calendar is set, the F1 boss hasn’t given up. He is optimistic about Germany’s return soon.

Speaking to Sport1 as quoted by PlanetF1, Domenicali said, “I’m disappointed and also sad that we don’t have a German Grand Prix at the moment. But unfortunately, I don’t see any real interest from Germany in becoming part of the Formula 1 calendar again. That’s a shame and actually hard to believe. I hope this will change again in the future.”
