Tom Brady has been the talk of the town for over a week now, thanks to the rumors that spread after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, consequently ending Brady’s Super Bowl hopes. While many, including his own father and agent, denied such claims to be true, the announcement was imminent.
After having competed in 22 seasons and winning a record seven Super-Bowls, the American quarterback was always going to hang his boots at one point. And quite unfortunately, the official announcement arrived through social media on February 1.
Brady took to Instagram and Twitter to end the rumors by acknowledging his retirement from NFL. Hence, tributes poured in, not only from NFL but also several other fields including Formula One.
