Lance Stroll, Alexander Albon, Pierre Gasly, and Lewis Hamilton, in that order. The order in which the DRS train at Imola cruised to the finish line. However, this was a pointless and points-less DRS train as only the leader of the said train Lance Stroll finished at P10. However, one would not assume the seven-time world champion struggling to overtake and finishing at P13. But that was exactly the case at Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

“I wouldn’t say easy, but it wasn’t too difficult,” is how Gasly described the situation, and this was all because of the DRS chain reaction. Even though the following are Gasly’s words, they can sum up the feelings of both him and Hamilton. “So yeah, it wasn’t a particularly exciting race and it was quite frustrating. Even with DRS, we couldn’t try to make a move. We know that when you have a bad qualifying, you make a mistake in qualifying and when you start from the back, it’s always very difficult.
