The Formula 2 feature race in the Jeddah Corniche Circuit was disarrayed by a first-lap crash involving Enzo Fittipaldi and Theo Pourchaire. French driver Theo Pourchaire’s car stalled on the grid at the start of the race, due to a technical dysfunction. Following the same, Enzo Fittipaldi ran into the back of the ART driver, causing a huge collision.
An ambulance was immediately deployed on the track, while the safety car escorted the rest of the drivers into the pits. The race was red-flagged later following another incident involving Samaia and Caldwell.

“I wish him the best recovery possible!” he added.
