Producer Lewis Hamilton Slams American “BS” In $50 Million F1 Flick Starring Brad Pitt

Lewis Hamilton is known for his commitment to Formula 1. Time and again he has emphasized on topics and points which would make the sport progress to a greater height.
A lot of these topics have been around the humanitarian and racism aspects. However, for his current project, Hamilton is working on something different. And we are sure that will be another great boost for the sport.

As we all know, Netflix’s Drive to Survive brought in a massive influx of supporters into the sport. The show took the sport into the USA, where it was fairly less popular prior to this. How can we forget the successful Miami Grand Prix that further showcased how America has accepted F1 with open arms?
Going down a similar route as Netflix, Apple Studios, along with Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski is soon coming out with a Formula One movie. The movie would be starring Academy Award Winner Brad Pitt, with Lewis Hamilton as one of the Producers.
Hamilton has joined this effort to ensure that the movie has been made as authentic as possible. He has also assured the fans that he would be having a review over the final cut of the movie.
Talking about this $50 Million Dollar Production, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Lewis Hamilton said, “To hear the B.S. that’s in the script because the Americans that are writing it are just getting newly accustomed to Formula 1”
Hamilton will also be arranging tours of the Mercedes factory for Pitt and the film’s director.
Lewis Hamilton wants to raise the bar with the movie
Hamilton’s ambition seemed high when he said, “If you look at all the racing movies, you can’t necessarily say that all the racing movies that have been in the past have been spectacular, and that’s something we want to change.”

He also aims to have diversity among the crew and be involved in a process of learning.

The Mercedes star also added, “It’s a really cool project, and we’re working on the script for example, very much involved in the script, which is fun. And spending a good time with Brad, which is pretty epic, and seeing his progress.”
