Recently, the CEO of Liberty Media, Greg Maffei came out to strongly rubbish these claims. He was quoted as saying, “Anyone says that our friends the Saudis are going to buy it next week or something like that, if anybody knows us, they should know that’s just not in our cards.” But in doing so, the American has hinted at pushing another agenda. Safe to say, this hasn’t gone down too well with the fans of the sport.
